Advice About Immunisations

 

For advice about child immunisations you can talk to your GP, health visitor or practice nurse. You can also look at the website www.immunisation.nhs.uk. For advice about travel immunisations book an appointment with the practice nurse 6 weeks before travel. 

For advice on adult immunisations such as tetanus, polio and diphtheria boosters or human papilloma virus immunisation for teenage girls you can talk to the practice nurse. Women who are not immune to rubella can have MMR vaccine.

We provide hepatitis B immunisations for health care workers only. Anyone else who requires hepatitis B immunisation for employment purposes will have to arrange this with their occupational health department or from a private clinic.
