FAQs:

How do I get an appointment reminder?

The system automatically texts you, at least one working day before your appointment.

Please ensure we have your most up-to-date mobile number, and that you have OPT'd IN to receive text messages from us.

You can update your mobile number, by completing a CONTACT US submission.

Need to cancel your appointment?

We ask if you cannot make your appointment - please cancel, as failure to cancel could result in you being removed from our practice list See our DNA policy here

Please try to cancel with at least 24 hours notice, if possible, so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

You can cancel by:

  • replying CANCEL to the text reminder
  • Use the NHS app or Patient Access app
  • Or in person at the practice
  • You can call the practice on 020 3474 6730 when we are closed and leave a voicemail to cancel your appointment (option 1). Please note: you must clearly leave your name, contact number, appointment time and date. Please do not leave any other message as these will not be dealt with or listened to.

When do I arrive for my appointment?

If you have an appointment face to face at the practice, please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. Anyone late may not be seen and may be asked to rebook.

Sometimes the clinicians are running late, so you may have to wait to be seen, this is normally due to a urgent situation dealt with earlier in the day. You will be kept updated if we are running late when you check-in.

If you have a telephone appointment booked - please be advised that you will be given a telephone appointment time, but you may be called one hour before your appointed time, or one hour after. It may come from a withheld number. Please answer.

If you can not accept an earlier or later phone call as explained above, please let the receptionist know when booking and we do our best to call you closer to your actual telephone appointment time.
